What Makes a Good Network Marketing (MLM) Opportunity: Part 1
Friday, April 17, 2009 at 10:51AM Recently, I attended a meeting at the home of a friend to
introduce yet another network marketing opportunity. Now, don't
get me wrong. I absolutely believe that network marketing is the
wave of the present and the future that will make a lot people
some serious money. But, the company and the opportunity are key
to a successful business venture.
This particular opportunity is in the field of
telecommunications. The great thing there is that everybody
needs the service, and it's a service for which people are
accustomed to pay every month. That's a key ingredient to
network marketing: repeated sales.
The problem with this particular opportunity for me came down to
the up-front cost to "buy in" as a representative. My estimate
is that it could easily cost $1,000 for the opportunity to
represent this company. That's way too high!
So, this potential opportunity had some things right, but a major
one wrong.
