Company Longevity, Track Record of Success, and Class A Product(s)
Here we go with Part 5, the final part, in this series. In this
article, we'll consider some attributes of a company that will
definitely help you succeed in a network marketing career. They
are longevity, growth, and product(s).
First, look at the longevity of any company you are considering:
in other words, the length of time the company has had its doors
open for business. While this absolutely should not be the main
criteria you use in making a selection of a company to join, it's
important to examine and consider. A young company may be a more
risky company. If you choose a young company, you may want to
have even more faith in your upline than might otherwise be the
case. On the other hand, if you choose an older company, what
baggage might you inherit from that company?
Second, consider the growth of the company. Newer companies
should show reasonable to significant growth. However, bear in
mind that many new companies can grow fast, simply because they
are new. If the company is new, can you determine whether or not
that growth can be sustained over time? If the company you're
considering is older, have they sustained a reasonable growth
rate over time? If not, that may indicate that your opportunity
isn't as great as you want or need it to be.
Finally, consider the product or products themselves that
attracted first you and that you hope will attract your potential
future customers and distributors. Are they Class A products?
Some of the questions you should ask yourself might be: Are
these products necessary? Are they compelling? Do they
represent repeatable sales? If one of these factors is true, you
may well be on to something not only important for your
well-being but for your financial success as well.
I'm sorry that this article has contained as many questions as
